Throttle Spindles are now made from manganese bronze as this material is more resistant to alcohol Fuels than Brass. All SU Spindles are precision ground to size and slotted to mate with the appropriate Throttle Disc .
Please note: Throttle spindles are supplied without the hole for the taper pin pre-drilled. To drill and pin a throttle stop onto the spindle, open the throttle until the disc is level in the bore, with the stop touching the body to ensure the carburetter achieves full throttle. Use a dab of Loctite to secure the stop and when this is dry it won’t move position as you drill the hole for the taper pin. We recommend using a 3mm drill to make the hole for the pin.

Carriage and packing is charged to destinations in the UK and Northern Ireland, except when other arrangements have been agreed. For overseas consignments we may contact you to advise on any additional carriage costs if required for your destination.
Our normal method of despatch is by post/road. Despatch by other methods will be subject to an extra charge.
